MDT Manufacturing Co., Ltd. prioritizes equipping employees with the knowledge and readiness to handle fire hazards and emergency situations. We have organized a Fire Prevention Training and Fire Evacuation Drill to ensure that employees gain essential skills in preventing and managing potential incidents effectively.

1. Basic Fire Safety Knowledge and Prevention Measures
Employees learned about the common causes of fire in workplaces, including:
Electrical short circuits
Misuse of gas or flammable substances
Highly combustible materials such as paper, plastic, or certain chemicals

Additionally, employees were introduced to fire prevention measures, such as:
Regularly inspecting electrical wiring and appliances for safety
Keeping emergency exits and fire escape routes clear of obstructions
Ensuring fire extinguishers are readily available and functional

2. Proper Use of Fire Extinguishers
Employees were trained on how to correctly operate a fire extinguisher using the PASS technique:
P – Pull the safety pin
A – Aim at the base of the fire
S – Squeeze the handle to release the extinguishing agent
S – Sweep the nozzle side to side across the fire

A hands-on practice session was conducted to allow employees to gain confidence in using fire extinguishers effectively during real emergencies.

3. Fire Evacuation Procedures and Assembly Point
Fire evacuation drills are crucial to ensuring employees can exit the building safely in an emergency. The key steps include:

When the fire alarm sounds, stop working immediately and follow the designated evacuation routes
Do not use elevators during an evacuation; always use the fire escape stairs
Assist coworkers in need, particularly elderly or injured individuals
Proceed to the designated assembly point and report to the team leader or safety officer
Wait for further instructions and do not re-enter the building until clearance is given

4. Basic First Aid in Emergency Situations
Employees were also trained in basic first aid for fire-related injuries, including:

Burns and Fire Injuries
Immediately pour clean water over the burn
Do not apply toothpaste or other substances to the burn
Cover the affected area with a clean cloth and seek medical attention

Smoke Inhalation and Unconscious Victims
Move the victim to an area with fresh air
Check for breathing; if there is no breathing, perform CPR
Contact emergency responders and transport the victim to the hospital

Fractures or Injuries from Slips and Falls During Evacuation
Avoid moving the injured area excessively
Use a splint or sturdy object to stabilize broken bones
Seek immediate medical attention
