The Safety Department held a training course on chemical safety and chemical spill response for employees on November 3, 2025 at 1:30 PM in Meeting Room 1. The purpose of this training was to ensure participants gain knowledge and understanding of the hazards associated with chemicals, including hazard communication through labels and safety symbols. Additionally, the training aimed to enable employees to handle chemicals properly and safely, as well as to assist themselves or others in the event of chemical exposure—thereby reducing the risk of injuries, property damage, and environmental impact.

This training was also conducted in compliance with the Ministerial Regulation prescribing standards for the management and operation of occupational safety, health, and working environment related to hazardous chemicals, Article 34 (requiring employers to provide training for employees responsible for controlling and mitigating hazardous situations in accordance with the course specified by the Director-General, including at least one annual refresher training).

The atmosphere during the activity was enthusiastic, with strong cooperation from all departments in both theoretical and practical sessions. This reflects the MDTM’s commitment to continuously and sustainably promoting a strong safety culture in the workplace.
